Mindfulness is focusing on one’s awareness of the present moment. Being mindful helps us to calmly acknowledge, and accept our feelings, thoughts, and teaches us to listen to what our bodies are telling us. Being mindful is also about being nonjudgmental about our thoughts and feelings. This has helped me be happier by living in the present and not dwelling on the past or projecting into the future.This allows yourself to achieve a state of equilibrium.
Being mindful has always helped me through tough situations.My self-talk says this is not right, this is not wrong, it just is. I hope this helps you as much as it has helped me.
